Gua Sha therapy is to use jade tools with smooth edges, rhino horns, obsidian plates and other tools, dipped in treatment oil or base essential oil to repeatedly scrape the body surface from top to bottom and from the inside to the outside to treat related diseases.
This therapy is a simple treatment commonly used in clinical practice and has been spread for a long time. It is mostly used to treat diseases in summer and autumn, such as heatstroke, exopathies, and gastrointestinal diseases.
Gua Sha’s effects on the body can be roughly divided into two categories: one is preventive and health-care effects, and the other is to treat diseases.
Its mechanism of action is:
